What we do at Center for Disability Services.

The source of problems or learning difficulties in class can be very diverse, but are by no means a reason to despair. With the help we offer, there is always a solution. Additional learning opportunities are available for everything from missing language skills to gaps in school subjects or the basics of educational subjects that need to be improved.

The main school themes can be repeated in the afternoon and during the holidays it is possible to part in holiday courses on certain main subjects. Before the exams, all students are offered revision courses during the holidays, in which they prepare intensively for the upcoming (final) exams.

In addition, our students always have the opportunity to study from home without any problems. Students can use our learning and communication platform Moodle to repeat and practise study content, accompanied online by subject teachers.

Center for Disability Service (CDS), is a non-profit organization for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, understands the importance of advocacy and accommodations for students in our various centers. Luckily, there are many K-12 programs and resources that allow students with disabilities to feel welcome and comfortable at our centers. But when it comes time for high school graduation, many family members tend to worry about how their loved one will continue to learn, grow, and interact with peers—outside of the CDS centers.

CDS’s highly knowledgeable staff members are committed to customized care that is catered to the well-being and individual goals of each adult participant. Through our various programs, events, and outings, CDS is a place for adults with disabilities to explore new interests, interact with the community, and build a social circle. We know how important your loved one is to you, and we are here to help them reach their highest potential, beyond high school graduation.
